Since the inception of the Indian Premier League, the OTT platform Jio Cinema has become the first choice of the people. Jiocinema is the official streaming partner for IPL 2023. All users can watch IPL for free on Jiocinema app. A record number of crores of viewers are watching IPL live on Jio Cinema app every day. In addition to IPL, Jio users are getting to watch a lot of entertainment content including movies, web series, music videos, television shows, documentaries and sports for free in the platform.
However, it looks like the freebies will soon be over. According to reports, JioCinema is planning to introduce a paid subscription plan, whereby users will have to pay to watch content on the platform. If reports are to be believed, the streaming platform of Mukesh Ambani-led Viacom 18 Live Cinema is planning to introduce new paid plans. The company may implement the subscription model after the end of IPL 2023.
According to the information received from the test website Reddit, JioCinema will offer three subscription plans Gold, Daily and Platinum. After purchasing the premium plan, users will be able to watch high quality content on any device.

The Daily Delight: This will be a one day plan priced at Rs 29. However, this plan will be available for just Rs 2 with the deal. Users can stream on two devices simultaneously on purchasing the plan and enjoy 24 hours of non-stop entertainment.
The Gold Standard: Priced at Rs.299 but currently offered at Rs.99. This plan will allow users to binge on two devices for a full three months.
Platinum Power: Listed as the top-tier plan, the price of this plan is Rs 1199, but it will be offered at Rs 599 under the discount. The plan benefits offer a full year of streaming on up to four devices. Also, this ad-free content will be available to watch.
Please tell that these plans have not yet gone live on Jio Cinema. Jio is expected to launch these plans soon after the Tata IPL 2023 is over. Meanwhile, JioCinema is also planning to expand its streaming platform by adding over 100 movies and TV series.
