Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-door: Customers are eagerly waiting for the 5-Door Maruti Suzuki Jimny. So far, more than 23000 bookings have been received for the SUV. The country’s largest auto company Maruti Suzuki is going to introduce its powerful offroader five-door Jimny in the market soon. At the Auto Expo 2023, Maruti showcased its upcoming Jimny.
When will Maruti Suzuki Jimny be launched in India?
Maruti Suzuki India is all set to launch both Jimny and Frons offroad cars on the same day in India. If reports are to be believed then their launch can happen in the first or second week of April. The SUV was showcased at the Auto Expo 2023 on 12 January. However, the official launch date has not been revealed yet.

Going by all the reports that have surfaced so far, the price of the five-door Jimny in India will start from around Rs 9 lakh and go up to Rs 13 lakh ex-showroom.

Maruti Suzuki usually offers its Nexa cars in Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha variants. However, the Jimny will be available in top-spec Zeta and Alpha variants with a host of features.

Talking about the exteriors of the upcoming five-door Jimny, the SUV is expected to get features like LED headlamps with washer, automatic headlamps, fog lamps, electrically adjustable and retractable ORVMs and 15-inch alloy wheels. Some features like hard top, drip rails, clamshell bonnet and tailgate-mounted spare wheel are standard. Apart from this, the car will get a 9-inch Smart Play Pro Plus infotainment system with HD display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, surround sound system, and cruise control. Talking about safety features, the Jimny offers six airbags, brake limited slip differential, electronic stability program, hill hold assist, hill descent control, rearview camera, ISOFIX and ABS with EBD.
