5G Launch in India 2023: Jio 5G service started in 16 cities of these 7 states of the country, see full list here

Jio True 5G Launch: 5G service is expanding rapidly across the country. Now Jio has started its 5G services in 16 cities of 7 states. This is one of the biggest 5G rollout of Jio. Only last week, the telecom giant launched its 5G services in Bihar, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh.

The cities where Reliance Jio has launched its 5G services on Tuesday include Kakinada and Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh, Silchar in Assam, Davanagere, Shivamogga, Bidar, Hospet and Gadag-Betageri in Karnataka. Nadu, Nizamabad and Khammam in Telangana and Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh, Malappuram, Palakkad, Kottayam and Kannur in Kerala, Tiruppur in Tamil. With this rollout, Jio’s 5G services are available in over 130 cities across the country.

A Jio spokesperson said, “We are proud to launch Jio True 5G services in 16 cities across 7 states, taking the total number of Jio 5G cities to 134. We have increased the speed and intensity of true 5G roll-out across the country as we want every Jio user to enjoy the benefits of Jio true 5G technology in the new year 2023.


Jio users in the launch cities will be invited to avail the Jio Welcome Offer, which offers unlimited data at 1 Gbps+ speeds at no extra cost. For this, users should have 5G support mobile and recharge of Rs 239. Reliance Jio aims to launch 5G network in all major cities of the country by the end of 2023.
