5G in India: Now Airtel 5G service started in these 4 cities of the country, 20-30 times more speed than 4G

5G in Tamil Nadu: In the case of 5G rollout, Bharti Airtel is giving equal competition to telecom operator Reliance Jio. Airtel has launched its 5G service in 5 cities of Tamil Nadu. Airtel 5G Plus service is now live in Coimbatore, Madurai, Hosur, Trichy. 5G service is already live in Chennai. With this, Airtel’s 5G services are now available in 52 cities across the country. Airtel 5G Plus is Airtel’s 5G NSA (non-standalone) deployment and will work on most 5G smartphones in the country.

5G in Trichy: Airtel 5G Plus will be available in Thillai Nagar, Rock Fort, KK Nagar, Karumandapam, Thirunagar, Sanjeevi Nagar, Srirangam, Valluvar Salai, Selvapuram, Melur Road and BHEL areas of Trichy.

5G in Madurai: Airtel 5G Plus will be available in Madurai’s KK Nagar, Kochadai, Ellis Nagar, Pasumalai, Mattuthwani, Thiruparankundram, Solayalagu Puram, Meenakshi Nagar, Viraganoor, Netaji Street, Alanganallur Road, Tiruvalluvar Nagar, Kadachananthal Road, Palangantham, and Kadachananthal Road areas in Madurai.

5G in Hosur: Airtel 5G Plus will be available in Bharathidasan Nagar, Mukondapalli, Ganapathi Nagar, Sipcot Island, Dargah, Periyar Nagar, Avalapalli, Shanti Nagar, Old ASTC HUDCO and VOC Nagar areas of Hosur.

5G in Coimbatore: Airtel 5G Plus will be available in Coimbatore’s 100 Feet Road, Town Hall, Gandhipuram, Saibaba Colony, Rathinapuri, Ganapathy, Koundampalayam, Tatabad, Saravanampatti, Sathy Road, Uppilipalayam, Cheran Ma Nagar, RS Puram, Podanur and Singanallur areas.

Airtel’s 5G Plus network is capable of delivering 20 times to 30 times the speed of the existing 4G network. The company is rapidly deploying 5G Plus and aims to complete the rollout in most parts of India by March 2024. Airtel’s 5G+ network services are available at no extra cost to Airtel 4G users.
