Telecom company Bharti Airtel is giving a tough competition to Reliance Jio in terms of 5G rollout. Now Airtel has expanded its 5G services in West Bengal. The telco has launched Airtel 5G Plus service in 15 cities of West Bengal. Now people of these cities can also use Airtel 5G Plus service. Airtel 5G Plus service is already live in Siliguri. With this launch, the total number of Airtel 5G Plus cities in West Bengal has gone up to 16.

Airtel 5G Plus is now available in Berhampur, Old Malda, Raiganj, Durgapur, Balurghat, Alipurduar, Dinhata, Asansol, Bardhaman, Cooch Behar, Medinipur, Jalpaiguri, Darjeeling, Islampur and Kharagpur in West Bengal.
Users will get the pleasure of high speed internet
Speaking on the launch, Ayan Sarkar, CEO, Bharti Airtel in West Bengal said, “I am thrilled to announce the launch of Airtel 5G Plus across 15 cities. Airtel customers in these 16 cities of West Bengal can now experience ultrafast network and enjoy speeds up to 20-30 times faster than the existing 4G speeds.
Prerequisites for Airtel 5G service
Airtel users with 5G supported smartphones can access the Airtel 5G Plus service at launch locations. Users do not need a new SIM card to use 5G services. Airtel customers can use its 5G services on their existing 4G SIM cards. Also, the telecom operator is currently offering 5G services at no extra cost. In such a situation, users will not even have to do extra recharge to use Airtel 5G Plus.
