Online Betting Case: After Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has now issued summons to Huma Qureshi and Kapil Sharma. In this regard, actor Ranbir Kapoor has mailed to ED asking for 2 weeks’ time. Behind this he has cited personal family reasons and earlier commitments.
The investigating agency ED has issued summons to Huma Qureshi and Hina Khan for allegedly promoting the app and Kapil Sharma for attending the success party of Mahadev Book app in Dubai last September. Meanwhile, today on Thursday Ranbir Kapoor sought more time from the Enforcement Directorate to appear personally in this case. He has mailed to ED regarding this. At the same time, now the Enforcement Directorate has to decide whether to give two weeks’ time to Ranbir Kapoor or not. It is noteworthy that in the online gaming betting case, ED had sent summons to actor Ranbir Kapoor and called him for questioning on October 6.

According to media reports, many Bollywood actors and singers are under the scanner of the investigating agency due to their involvement in the Mahadev Online Betting app case. The ED is also investigating his attendance at the app promoter’s wedding and success party in the UAE. ED has collected some digital evidence in this case. According to which, it is being said that Rs 112 crore was given to an event management company through Hawala, while hotel booking worth Rs 42 crore was paid in cash.
These Bollywood celebs may be investigated
ED will investigate 15 to 20 Bollywood celebs including Ranbir. These include Huma Qureshi, Hina Khan, Kapil Sharma, Sunny Leone, Atif Aslam, Tiger Shroff, Pulkit, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Bharti Singh, Bhagya Shri, Neha Kakkar, Ali Asgar, Vishal Dadlani, Elli Avram, Kriti Kharbanda, Nusrat Bharucha, Names of many including Krishna Abhishek and Sukhwinder Singh are included.
