Mahadev Betting App Case: ED had issued summons to Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor in the Mahadev betting app case. In which he was called to the ED office for questioning on 6 October. If reports are to be believed, the actor has asked for two weeks’ time from the ED.
According to media reports, the Bollywood actor has sought two weeks’ extension from ED officials through email on October 5. The actor said in his email that he should be given two weeks’ time. After this he will be present at the ED office in Raipur. If reports are to be believed, Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor is accused of taking money to promote the online betting Mahadev app. ED had tried to contact Ranbir Kapoor several times before sending the summons, but did not get any response. After which he was sent a summons and asked to come to the ED office.
That’s why ED was contacting Ranbir Kapoor.
Actually, Mahadev betting app is run by Saurabh Chandrakar and Ravi Uppal. He is the owner of this company, who runs his company sitting in Dubai. Saurabh Chandrakar got married in the month of February this year. He had invited many big Bollywood celebs including Ranbir to his wedding. Celebs also performed at his wedding. It is alleged that Saurabh had given money to Bollywood stars through hawala. ED will interrogate Ranbir Kapoor only regarding this payment. Saurabh had spent around Rs 200 crore on his marriage. After this he came into limelight.
Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, these stars are under the scanner of ED.
If reports are to be believed, apart from Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, many celebs including Tiger Shroff, Neha Kakkar, Bharti Singh, Sunny Leone, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Krishna Abhishek are on the ED’s radar. Pakistani singers Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam also attended Saurabh Chandrakar’s wedding. Therefore ED can interrogate him also.
