Movie Jawan First Day Collection:Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘Jawaan’ has created history by earning bumper on the very first day of its release. ‘Jawaan’ has become the country’s biggest box office opening film till date. With the success of the film, a record has also been registered in the name of Badshah Khan.
Let us tell you that Shahrukh Khan starrer film ‘Jawaan’ was released in theaters on September 7 on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami. The opening day of the film was very spectacular and it made a record in terms of earnings. ‘Jawaan’, which has been breaking all records since the first day of advance booking, has earned handsomely on its opening day as well. This film has left behind the first day collection of 10 films including ‘Gadar 2’ released last month and ‘Pathan’ released at the beginning of the year.
‘Jawaan’ earns Rs 120 crore worldwide on first day in India
Film critic Manobala Vijayabalan has shared the initial day 1 collection figures of the film ‘Jawaan’ on Twitter. He wrote, “The film ‘Jawan’ has earned more than Rs 70 crores in India and Rs 120 crores worldwide on the first day. It will be surprising to know that Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ has broken the records of about 10 films by earning at the box office on the very first day at a fast pace.
‘Pathan’ collected Rs 57 crore on opening day
According to a report, Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Pathan’ had collected Rs 57 crore on its opening day. The first day’s earning of the film ‘KGF Chapter 2’ was Rs 53.95 crore. The opening day collection of the 2019 hit film ‘War’ starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff was Rs 53.35 crore. Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif’s film ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ had earned Rs 52.25 crore on the first day. Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘Happy New Year’ collected 44.97 crores on the opening day.
‘Bharat’ earned Rs 42.30 crore on opening day
Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Jawaan’ has also broken the record of the first day collection of Salman Khan’s film ‘Bharat’. ‘Bharat’ had earned Rs 42.30 crore on the opening day. Prabhas’ mega blockbuster film ‘Bahubali 2’ had earned Rs 41 crore on the first day. Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor’s film ‘Prem Ratna Dhan Payo’, released in 2015, had collected Rs 40.35 crore on the first day. Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel’s Gadar 2 had an opening day collection of Rs 40.10 crore.
A big record has been registered in the name of King Khan: Vijay Balan
The opening day collection of the 2016 film ‘Sultan’ was Rs 36.54 crore. With the bumper opening day earnings of ‘Jawaan’, a big record has also been registered in the name of King Khan. Manobala Vijaybalan wrote in his tweet, “Shah Rukh Khan has become the only Bollywood actor to make a record of 100 crores on the first day.”
