Bollywood: Nora Fatehi on Monday recorded her statement before the Patiala House Court in a defamation case filed against Jacqueline Fernandez and various media organisations. In her statement, Nora said that she was called a gold digger and was accused of having links with thug Sukesh Chandrasekhar. He believes that he has been made a scapegoat in this case to save some people as he is an outsider.

According to media reports, Nora described herself as a soft target and said that she wants compensation for all the losses caused to my career including loss of financial gain and reputation. He also said that he has filed this defamation case because he has nothing to do with the ongoing Rs 200 crore ED case against Sukesh, nor does he know anything about it. Nora said in her statement, Jacqueline has said in the media why the ED has listed me as a witness and herself as an accused in the case. This statement has resulted in prolonged and unnecessary harassment, loss of work and cyberbullying. Nora has accused Jacqueline of making false statements with malicious intent. In September 2022, Nora was questioned by the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police for more than four hours.

The case was registered in December last year

Nora Fatehi had filed a defamation case in December last year, alleging that Fernandez had made defamatory statements to ruin her career for malicious reasons to further his interests.
