UPSC CSE Mains 2023: Union Public Service Commission i.e. UPSC Civil Services Main Examination 2023 is going to start from 15th September. Candidates who have successfully passed the UPSC IAS Prelims Exam should download their UPSC Mains Admit Card 2023 soon, which is available on the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in.

Apart from the admit card, the Commission has also released necessary guidelines for the exam day. UPSC Main Exam 2023 will be conducted over five days, with morning shift from 9 am to 12 noon and afternoon shift from 2 pm to 5 pm. The exam dates are 15, 16, 17, 23 and 24 September.

UPSC CSE Mains 2023 Exam Guidelines

1. Candidates must carry a copy of their e-Admit Card 2023 along with their photograph, identity proof to enter the examination hall.

2. Valuable and expensive items are strictly prohibited inside the testing centre.

3. Candidates must reach the examination hall at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time for each session. No one will be allowed to enter after 10 minutes of the commencement of the examination.

4. Use of mobile phones, electronic devices and communication devices is prohibited within the examination premises.

5. Candidates whose photograph on the e-admit card is illegible will have to carry one passport size photograph for each session along with an affidavit for appearing in the examination.
