Good news has come out for the students who have passed class 10th from the government schools of Chandigarh, the capital of Haryana and Punjab. Actually, after passing the 10th class, now students will not have to face the struggle to get admission in 11th class. To get rid of this problem that occurs every year, the education department has made a reservation policy for admission in class 11 in Chandigarh. Under this reservation policy, 85 percent seats in government schools of the city will be reserved only for those students who have passed 10th class from government schools.
In fact, for the first time in Chandigarh, this type of reservation policy has been implemented for admission at the school level. Explain that under this policy, out of 13875 seats in Class 11, about 11794 seats have been reserved for admission to students who have passed out from government schools.
A merit list will be prepared for this admission and according to that the students will get admission. With this decision taken by the Education Department, the students studying in government schools will get relief. Along with this, if students coming from private schools will have to run for admission in government schools.
Be informed that due to less number of senior secondary schools in the city, students have to rush at the time of admission in class 11th. Along with this, complaints used to come from the relatives of the children that due to the centralized admission, the children of the city could not get admission in the schools. Keeping this in mind, this decision has been taken. If you look at such statistics, after reservation of 85 percent seats, admission will be done for the remaining 15 percent seats on the basis of merit list of students passed from private schools of Chandigarh, other states and other boards.
