Private schools across UP including Noida have got a big relief from the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has stayed the High Court’s order to refund or adjust 15 percent of the fees charged by private schools during the Corona period.

Regarding the school fees taken during the Corona period, orders were given to the Allahabad High Court to return or adjust 15 percent of the fees. Which has now been banned by the Supreme Court. In fact, a petition was filed in the Supreme Court in this regard on behalf of other schools including Lotus Valley.

In the petition filed in the Supreme Court on behalf of Lotus Valley International School, it was said that the Allahabad High Court had given this order without hearing anyone’s side. Along with this, the Allahabad High Court had said in these orders that in the last year 2020 to 21, 15 percent of the total fees taken in all the private schools of the state should be adjusted in the next session. Along with this, the Supreme Court further said that the children who have left the school will have to return 15 percent of the total fees charged by the schools in 2020-21. This order was implemented on all private schools in the state.
