As per the official notification, the panel of these consultant interpreters will be appointed on full time basis during a session period and part time basis during the intersession period as per the requirement. Selected candidates will be posted in the Interpretation Service of the Lok Sabha Secretariat and will report to the concerned officer of the said service.

The notification states that the regional languages for which the panel of consultant interpreters are to be created are Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Dogri, Gujarati, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Malayalam, Manipuri, Nepali, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Santhali, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
Recruitment In Lok Sabha 2023 What is the eligibility criteria
educational qualification: Only those candidates will be considered eligible under this recruitment who have studied any recognized language or with optional subject. They should have Master’s degree as well as Diploma in local language. This diploma should be from a recognized institute.
Experience: Candidates should also have experience in translation or interpretation. Apart from this, they should also have a recognized certificate of computer course. At the same time, candidates who have a bachelor’s degree and must also have five years of experience in translation or interpretation.
Age Range: People between the age group of 27 years to 70 years can apply for the job under this recruitment drive. All they have to do is take care of the last date.
Recruitment In Lok Sabha 2023 How much is the salary
The candidates are told that they will be paid Rs 6000 per day for the number of days they work during the Parliament session. Apart from this, they will be given Rs 25,000 annually as retainer fees.
