HPSC PGT Recruitment 2023: Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has started the process of fresh recruitment for 4476 posts of PGT. Through these recruitment, 613 posts of 19 subjects are included in Mewat Cadre and 3863 posts of Rest of Haryana (ROH) Cadre. The recruitment process will start from June 28 which will continue till July 18. Candidates can apply online for this. Now all the youth will have to apply afresh once again for this recruitment. However, the youth applying earlier will be given age relaxation. For this, the commission has released the schedule. This exam will be conducted in two phases, in the first phase there will be a screening test for 100 marks and in the second phase there will be a subjective exam for 150 marks.

The final selection of the candidate in this recruitment will be based on the interview. A total of 12.5 percent marks will be given to the interview. Let us inform that earlier after the order of Punjab and Haryana High Court, HPSC had withdrawn the recruitment advertisement on May 24. In fact, the frequent changes in the norms of the written test were challenged in the High Court. First announced written exam with MCQ questions, but later announced to conduct preliminary and main exam with subjective questions.

Let us tell you that for this recruitment, Haryana Staff Selection Commission had first advertised various posts on 26 August 2019. Then in 2020, HPSC was given the responsibility of this recruitment. On 13th December 2022 HPSC released the written exam pattern in which 150 MCQ questions were to be asked as per the given syllabus. After this, on March 20, the new scheme of examination was announced by HPSC, in which the written examination was to be conducted in two phases – preliminary and main. In the last, the change in the pattern of examination had to be canceled due to the challenge in the High Court. Now once again in the year 2023, a fresh advertisement for this recruitment has been issued.
