Himachal: The incident of landslide has come to light on Saturday in Sarautha of Chamba district of Himachal. During this, a 10-inch water pipeline has been broken due to landslide. Due to this there was chaos in the village. Not only this, people are also facing water problems. Due to landslides in Chamba city, the problem of pipeline of drinking water supply is not being resolved. Even before this, landslides have happened twice at this place. After this incident, the department is busy in building the road and repairing the pipeline.

Let us inform that even before this, incidents of landslides have happened twice. Most of the people are troubled by the problems of water and roads. Due to this landslide, necessary steps are being taken to solve these problems at the places which are getting affected again and again. At the same time, on March 30, 2023, MLA Neeraj Nayyar had said that problems arising due to heavy landslide in Sarotha Nala of Chamba city’s drinking water supply pipeline are being resolved soon.

Along with this, he has said that to ensure uninterrupted drinking water supply system, an action plan is being prepared to remove the pipeline from landslide prone places. In order to give a commercial shape to the work plan, the Jal Shakti Department has been instructed to complete the construction work in a time-bound manner. Along with this, the MLA said that due to the separate construction of the pipeline, there will be a permanent solution to the problem of drinking water supply.
