Choose a cheap country to study abroad
If you want to study abroad at low cost, then first choose a country where the cost of living and studying is minimal. There are many countries which are very cheap for Indian students, and education in these countries is also free. Like – Brazil, Germany, Norway, Iceland, Czech Republic, Mexico and Luxembourg. Most free courses are offered by public universities. However, for admission, language proficiency tests have to be passed and some registration fees have to be paid.
Apply for scholarships and grants
If you want to study abroad for free or at low cost, then the second way is to choose a university that offers full scholarships and grants. The scholarship covers expenses ranging from tuition fees to air travel etc.

In Nordic countries, assistantship is provided for financial support to MS i.e. graduate and PhD scholars. Under assistantship, research work or part time teaching has to be done. Nordic countries include Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, Norway and Finland.
University Education Exchange Program
Many universities of India have signed OMU with universities of foreign countries. Under which universities send some of their students to each other to study through the Education Exchange Programme. Students do not have to pay additional fees if they go through the exchange program.
