CSBC Bihar Constable Exam 2023: The Central Constable Selection Board (CSBC) decided to cancel the Bihar Constable Recruitment Examination held on 1 October 2023. Talking about the cancellation on October 2, 2023, Board President AK Singhal said that he had received many complaints regarding irregularities in the examination. He said, “After a thorough investigation, it was found that a conspiracy was hatched by a gang, due to which the examination scheduled for 1 October 2023 was cancelled. Apart from this, the examinations to be held on 7 October 2023 and 15 October 2023 were also cancelled.” “This examination has been canceled until further notification.”

At least 100 fraudsters and solver gang members were arrested on 1 October 2023 from different districts of Bihar. The cancellation of the examination has come as a big blow to lakhs of candidates who had worked hard for the examination. This comes after the arrest of several persons, commonly known as “Munna Bhai”, from various districts of Bihar. These arrests were made in connection with the recovery of the answer key. In several districts, candidates were caught attempting to use electronic devices and fraudulent content to copy answers. Moreover, some candidates were caught red handed with hand written answer sheets in Patna.

The board has decided to cancel the written examination of both the shifts. Meanwhile, the Economic Offenses Unit or EOU has already started investigation into the question paper leak of Bihar Police Constable Recruitment Exam. So far 61 FIRs have been registered in various districts of Bihar. Many candidates are also suspected to be involved in this paper leak.
