CBSE orders Haryana schools, now it will be necessary to have one desktop for 18 children

Haryana School: The Central Board of Secondary Education of Haryana has directed to strengthen the digital infrastructure of all affiliated schools. According to the new rules, the board has asked to prepare digital infrastructure in schools. Rules have been made under the National Education Policy 2020. The board has asked all the schools to implement these rules with immediate effect.

As per rules, schools will have to keep at least 40 such computer systems in their computer labs for one desktop or laptop for 18 children, which are connected with audio-video input with internet, which can be increased later as per rules. Schools will also have to install servers, data backup, internet connectivity, printer and scanner and UPS.

The board has also asked schools to install smart boards to make classroom teaching effective. Although better digital infrastructure is being used by most of the schools, but they also have to see everything according to the rules. Instructions have also been given by the board for the teams visiting the schools during the inspection of the schools.

Video will be of 35 minutes

Under this, they will have to make videos of school gate, playground, library, lab, toilet, toilet for special children, drinking water, fire safety, classroom, faculty room etc. The inspection team will have to make a total of 35 minutes of videos. Time has been set for each place. The committee will also have to take a group photo with the school staff.

Will have to follow the rules of 2017

In 2017, the CBSE asked schools to follow guidelines on safe internet usage as well as rules for internet and digital technology in schools and school buses. The specifications of the equipment to be used by the schools have also been issued by the board. According to which schools will have to prepare infrastructure.
