CBSE Marking System 2024: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will not give any division (category), distinction (special ability) in board exams 10th and 12th. This is the first major change from the CBSE board for 10th and 12th exams. Its notification has been posted on the official website of CBSE Board cbse.gov.in. According to this, students appearing in the CBSE board examination in the year 2024 will not be given section, rank or overall marks.

Sanyam Bhardwaj said on CBSE Marking System
CBSE controller of examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj said that the CBSE board will not give any division, distinction or aggregate to the students appearing for class 10th and 12th examinations in 2024. Apart from this, the board has also clarified that the percentage of marks in class 10th and 12th will not be calculated by CBSE.
CBSE Marking System 2024: How to get admission
Another important thing has been mentioned in the notification of CBSE Board. According to the notification, if a student has taken more than five subjects in the board examination, the decision to determine the best five subjects can be taken by the institution admitting the student or the employer recruiting the student from the CBSE board. CBSE board will also have no role in this.
When will CBSE exams be held?
CBSE board exams for class 10th and 12th will be conducted between 15 February to 10 April 2024. At present the date sheet has not been released for CBSE board exam. It is believed that CBSE will announce the board exam date 2024 this week. For this, students should keep visiting the official website cbse.gov.in.
