Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan held a meeting in New Delhi on 27 March. In this meeting, new textbooks based on the new National Curriculum Framework and National Education Policy 2020 were discussed. In fact, School Education Secretary Sanjay Kumar, senior officials of NCERT and members of the National Steering Committee on National Curriculum Framework were also present in this high-level meeting.

Along with this, during the meeting, the Union Education Minister has asked to develop textbooks in 22 languages ​​included in the 8th Schedule of the Constitution. This textbook will be in line with the perspective of the new National Education Policy 2020 to provide multilingual education. Along with this, the minister said that continuous efforts will be made to take the magic box of learning materials developed under NCERT to every school in the form of open education resources.

Speaking on the occasion, the Union Education Minister said that it needs to be made a mass movement so that innovative and creative youth can join hands and take forward to develop all kinds of innovative content. Also, talked about adopting the National Education Policy.

In fact, in the past, the Ministry of Education has launched a magical box of game-based teaching-learning material for children in the age group of 3 to 8 years. Also, the magic box developed as per the National Curriculum Framework has been made available in 13 Indian languages.

The Box has ensured that not just books, but also a myriad of resources to be used for learning and teaching, such as puppets, toys, worksheets, puzzles, posters, flash cards and engaging books as well as the local environment in the Magic Box All are included.
