Organization of PM National Apprenticeship Fair.
Apprenticeship Fair: Apprenticeship fair is being organized on May 8, 2023 in about 200 districts across the country under the Union Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship i.e. MSDE Skill India Mission. The purpose of organizing this fair is to provide maximum employment. Along with this, this fair will be organized from 9 am to 5 pm.
Recruitment campaign will run in the fair
Several companies have been invited by MSDE to provide relevant apprenticeship, employment cum training opportunities to the local youth. In this, local businessmen, organizations, public and private sector companies have been invited to this fair. In this fair, companies will recruit eligible candidates on the spot. In this, candidates will get a chance to learn new skills and new things.
Who can take part in this fair
To participate in this National Apprenticeship Fair, candidates must first register for the fair by visiting apprenticeshipindia.gov.in. Also, the candidates will be able to locate the nearest location of the Mela through this website itself. Educational qualification is required to apply for this fair. 12th pass, ITI pass, Diploma candidates or Graduate candidates can register for this fair. Candidates will need to carry photo of resume as well as mark sheet, passport size photo, along with Aadhaar card and other things.
At the same time, Atul Kumar Tiwari, Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship said that priority is being given to apprenticeship training to increase the development and growth of the country. He said that creating opportunities for work-based learning can help. Stipend can also be offered to the youth during studies and training.
