UP: The Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh is constantly making efforts to promote education. The government is leaving no stone unturned to further the education of Sanskrit in UP. In this series, the UP government has now decided that 10 new government Sanskrit secondary schools will be opened in UP. Actually, this information has been given by the officials of the State Education Department. He has told that all these 10 schools will be opened in 10 districts of the state. Not only this, the names of all these districts have also been released. This includes Varanasi, Muzaffarnagar, Jalaun, Rae Bareli, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Shamli, Etah, Amethi and Hardoi.

According to media reports, if we talk about the present time in UP, then there is only one Government Sanskrit Secondary School and one Government Sanskrit Degree College in the entire state. Apart from this, private institutes are being run for the study of Sanskrit. In such a situation, the government of CM Yogi Adityanath is committed to increase the number of Sanskrit schools and colleges. Efforts have already started in this regard. After the approval of the state government, the officials of the state directorate of education have started the process for the construction of these new Sanskrit schools.

Sanskrit schools up to Inter will open in five cities

It is to be noted here that a provision of Rs 100 crore was made by the state government in the budget of 2023-24 to open the Sanskrit school. Not only this, the government is preparing to open a government Sanskrit school at the intermediate level in Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Ayodhya, Mathura and Chitrakoot. Religiously Sanskrit schools will be opened in all these cities.
