Sheila Dikshit's son writes letter to PC Chako. Congress leader sends it to Sonia Gandhi
Former Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit's son Sandeep Dikshit has said that he has written a letter to Delhi Congress incharge PC Chako.
In the letter, Sandeep Dikshit raised certain matters which he didn't want to divulge. He said that the letter was not a legal notice and was addressed to PC Chako in person.
After Chako said that he had shared letter with Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Sandeep Dikshit said that he didn't know why Chako was trying to drag her in it.
In response, PC Chako said, "I don't want to disclose what is written in the letter. I thought it is appropriate to send it to congress president."
He further said, "Sandeep Dikshit can't tell me what I should do and what I shouldn't do."
When asked whether the letter mentioned if Chako was responsible for Sheila Dikshit's ill health, the Congress leader said, "You don’t know what is written in the letter - I have found it fit to send to Sonia Gandhi."
The letter comes months after Sheila Dixit's demise. PC Chako had had a bitter war of words with Sheila Dikshit in her last days.
Sheila was said to be upset with PC Chako allegedly for making media statements about her leadership and illness. She had also denied receiving the letter from Chako which was leaked to the media.
In the said letter, Chako had questioned why Sheila had dissolved all committees after Lok Sabha poll debacle and asked her that why she was not receiving any calls.
The spat between the two Congress leaders had started over whether the party should enter into an alliance with AAP in the Lok Sabha polls.
