Zomato made a funny comment on the ban on 2000 notes.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced the withdrawal of Rs 2000 notes issued after the demonetisation of 2016. The change is reminiscent of the sudden change of 2016, when the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi withdrew 86% of the economy’s currency overnight. However, 2000 notes present in the market will remain in circulation. The Reserve Bank of India has advised banks to stop issuing Rs 2,000 notes. RBI said that these notes will remain in circulation till 30 September. Those who currently have 2000 rupee notes, they should exchange it from the bank. September 30 has been fixed as the last day for exchange of bank notes.

As soon as the news came, people started posting various messages, memes and funny photos on Twitter. Some are taunting about demonetisation, while many people are praising PM Modi. Twitter is flooded with mixed reactions to both of these. Meanwhile, food delivery app Zomato has also given its reaction on Twitter regarding the ban on 2000 note.
