Uttarakhand Foundation Day 2023:Devbhoomi Uttarakhand is completing 23 years of its establishment today on 9th November. Many programs have been organized in the state on this special occasion of entering the 24th year. On the occasion of the Foundation Day of Uttarakhand, President Draupadi Murmu as the chief guest and Governor of Uttarakhand Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (Retd) CM Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the State Foundation Day programme. During this, while addressing the program, the President paid tribute to the agitators who made sacrifices in the statehood movement.

Addressing the program, President Draupadi Murmu said – I convey my best wishes to all the residents of the state for the continued development of Uttarakhand. The development of the state is getting direction and strength under the guidance of the Governor and the active leadership of the Chief Minister, for this I congratulate both of you and the entire team of the state government. I believe that with the blessings of the Gods and Goddesses, the residents here will definitely reach new heights of happiness, prosperity and development.

While addressing the program, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that I congratulated the soldiers for displaying a beautiful parade in front of President Draupadi Murmu. He said that I welcome and congratulate today’s chief guest and President of India Draupadi Murmu from the bottom of my heart.
Uttarakhand state was separated from Uttar Pradesh on 9 November 2000.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, remembering the immortal martyrs and state agitators, said that on this auspicious occasion of today, I pay my respects to all the immortal martyrs and state agitators who have contributed in building the state of Uttarakhand and wish for the happiness and prosperity of all the people of Uttarakhand. I wish for. Let us tell you that Uttarakhand state was formed by separating from Uttar Pradesh on 9 November 2000.
