UP Police Paper Leak Update: The main accused has been arrested on Wednesday morning (April 3) in the Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment Exam Paper Leak case. Noida unit of UP STF has arrested Rajiv Nayan Mishra, the main accused in the paper leak case. UP Police and STF were conducting raids in search of him for several days. It is being told that Rajeev Nayan Mishra has already leaked many exam papers and has also gone to jail.

More than 300 accused have been caught so far
Let us tell you that in the UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam, about 48 lakh youth had given the recruitment exam on 17th and 18th February but due to paper leak, the exam had to be canceled. Since the cancellation of recruitment, the police and STF are busy in arresting the accused of paper leak. So far, more than 300 accused have been arrested in the case.

Main 5 accused in UP Police Constable Paper Leak

  • Rajeev Nayan: Originally a resident of Amora village of Meja police station of Prayagraj. Current address is Bharat Nagar JK Road Bhopal. He had made the candidates study the paper at a resort in Rewa. A case is registered against him in Kankarkheda police station of Meerut.
  • Abhishek Shukla: In 2021, he joined Transport Corporation of India Company (TCI) as Training Executive. He left this company after 6 months.
  • Shivam Giri: Worked in TCI company Delhi in 2020 for about 10-11 months. In December 2020, he was transferred to warehouse Ahmedabad.
  • Rohit Pandey: Joined TCI company in Ahmedabad in November-2021. Rohit had met Shivam Pandey only two months ago.
  • Shubham Mandal: Is a resident of Patna. Is a doctor by profession. Expert in opening sealed boxes. Shubham Mandal has also been arrested by STF after interrogation.

Recruitment was done on 60 thousand posts
It is noteworthy that constable recruitment examination was conducted in Uttar Pradesh on 17-18 February. In this, recruitment was done for more than 60 thousand posts of constable. Youth had come not only from UP but also from Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Bihar to appear in the examination. But the constable recruitment exam paper was already leaked.

DG of Police Recruitment and Promotion Board also removed
Many videos and photos of the February 17 and 18 paper had gone viral on social media before the exam time. After this the Constable Recruitment Board investigated the matter. After which Yogi government had canceled the constable recruitment examination and handed over the investigation of the matter to UP STF. A few days later, the government also removed Police Recruitment and Promotion Board DG Renuka Mishra from the post.
