UP Municipal Election 2023: Samajwadi Party has released its second list for the civic elections. The names of 6 people are included in this list, whereas in the first list, the names of candidates were announced for 8 seats out of 17 municipal corporations. Political parties have been in turmoil ever since the date of civic elections in UP was announced. All the parties have entered the election field with their own strength. Municipal elections in UP are going to be held in 2 phases. Elections are to be held here in two phases on May 4 and May 11. At the same time, its results will be revealed on May 13.
The Samajwadi Party has released the second list of mayoral candidates for the municipal elections on Saturday, April 15. This second list includes the names of the candidates for the post of Mayor of 6 districts. Out of which Sanjeev Saxena from Bareilly, Tulsiram Sharma from Mathura, Lalita Jatav from Agra, OP Singh from Varanasi, former MLA Jamir Ullah Khan from Aligarh and Neelam Garg, wife of PN Garg from Ghaziabad have been fielded as the mayoral candidates.
