UP Mahoba News: Fraud of Rs 4 crore through fake documents;  accused arrested

Mahoba News: Mahoba Police of Uttar Pradesh has achieved a big success today. The police has arrested the accused manager in the fraud case. A case of fraud of Rs 4 crore by preparing fake documents with the mining mountain lease holder had come to light. The manager had absconded with Rs 8 lakh 50 thousand kept in the office. The police have arrested the fraudulent manager, recovered Rs 1 crore 10 lakh and sent him to jail.

The accused was planning to flee abroad
The accused manager was planning to escape abroad as soon as he got the opportunity. Superintendent of Police Aparna Gupta said that on January 11, 2024, a case was registered in Sadar Kotwali by Rasmeet Singh Malhotra, son of Ajit Singh Malhotra, resident of Pipariya village of Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh. He had filed a complaint letter accusing his manager, 26-year-old Sachin Prakash, of defrauding around Rs 04 crore in the sale of minerals by preparing fake documents.

Five teams formed to uncover the incident
The Superintendent of Police said that considering this incident as a big challenge, five police teams were formed to unveil it. Who had left for Panipat, Sonipat, Delhi, Mumbai and Lucknow to search for the accused. Many important evidences were also collected by the police teams in relation to the accused of fraud.

The manager was hiding in the rented room
According to Mahoba police, the fraudulent manager was living in a room on rent for the last few days in Bijanagar locality of the district. On Saturday morning, he reached Bijanagar Tiraha to collect the goods in a four-wheeler from where he was arrested by the police. Police have recovered bill vouchers, a gold chain, a ring, a laptop, 5 mobiles and a four-wheeler car from the accused.
