Lucknow.The third budget of the second term of the Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh was presented on Monday. Finance Minister Suresh Khanna presented a budget of Rs 7 lakh 36 thousand 437 crore 71 lakh in the Assembly. New schemes worth Rs 24 thousand crore have been brought. The budget has focused on women, youth, farmers and the poor. A big announcement has been made for the farmers. Farmers above 60 years of age will be given a monthly pension of Rs 3,000.   • Due to the efforts of the state government, the maternal mortality rate has reduced from 285 per lakh in the year 2014 to 167 per lakh in the year 2022 and the infant mortality rate has reduced from 48 per thousand in the year 2014 to 38 per thousand in the year 2020.
  • 8.32 crore workers of Uttar Pradesh have been registered on the e-Shram portal of the Government of India, which is the highest in the country.
  • Under the Mukhyamantri Yuva Self-Employment Scheme in the MSME sector, 1,79,112 jobs have been created so far, benefiting 22 lakh 389 beneficiaries.
  • 124 rural stadiums/multipurpose halls have been constructed in 117 development blocks of the state.
