The Supreme Court has given a big relief to Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, his son Akhilesh Yadav and Prateek Yadav in Uttar Pradesh. The Supreme Court has dismissed a plea seeking a copy of the CBI report to close the preliminary inquiry into allegations of amassing disproportionate assets against the Yadav family. Regarding this, the Supreme Court said that in the year 2013, the CBI had closed the investigation. Now there is no justification for this petition.

The Supreme Court on Monday heard a petition related to the disproportionate assets case of Mulayam Singh Yadav, Akhilesh Yadav and Prateek Yadav. The court has now refused to hear further on this matter. The court, while hearing today, said that in 2013, the CBI had closed the case after preliminary investigation. Now there is no need to ask for further report from CBI.

The Supreme Court heard on Monday the petition of petitioner Vishwanath Chaturvedi in this regard, in which the court was told by filing a petition that the CBI has not taken any action in the matter so far. Whereas in March 2007, the court had ordered an inquiry.
