Speaking to news agency ANI, Madhukar Rao Devhare of Akhil Bharatiya Maang Samaj said, “The world celebrated Diwali on January 22. Since broom is worshiped as Goddess Lakshmi on Diwali, Akhil Bharatiya Maang Samaj presented a silver broom to Shri.

He further said, “It took 11 days to make the silver broom. With Goddess Lakshmi seated on the top and beautiful carvings around it, the broom has 108 silver rods. Its weight is 1.751 kg. We have requested that the broom be kept in the sanctum sanctorum and used to clean it. We have come from Betul in Madhya Pradesh.

If reports are to be believed, Ram Mandir Trust has so far received donations worth more than Rs 5,000 crore from all over the world. Also, since Pran Pratistha, lakhs of people from different states, cities across the country and abroad are reaching Ayodhya to have darshan of Ram Lala.
