Preparations for ‘Kashi Tamil Sangamam’ are going on in the final stage at Kashi Hindu University in Varanasi. The city of Kashi is being decorated like a bride. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the local people about this month-long program. Greeting people coming to attend the Kasi Tamil Sangamam with the traditional ‘Har Har Mahadev’ as well as ‘Vanakkam’ meaning Namaste. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate this Kashi Tamil Sangamam after reaching Kashi at 2 pm today.
According to media reports, Kashi Tamil Sangamam is organized to create a cultural bridge between North India and South India. The event aims to bring together scholars, students, philosophers, businessmen, artisans, artists and people from other walks of life from both the fields. Both the regions will share their knowledge, culture and practices. Through agriculture, culture, literature, handloom and handicraft, music, food, folk art, people of both the regions will be aware of each other’s traditions. A total of 75 stalls have been set up by various departments at Kashi Tamil Sangam. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the local people about this program.
PM Modi will interact with students of Tamil Nadu
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Kashi Tamil Sangamam after reaching Kashi at 2 pm today. During this, the Prime Minister will release books based on Tirukkural and Kasi-Tamil culture. Also, it is being told that the Prime Minister can interact with more than 200 students from Tamil Nadu. Strict security arrangements have also been made in Kashi regarding the arrival of PM. Kashi Tamil Sangamam will run till 16th December. Along with PM Modi, many other leaders including CM Yogi Adityanath will also participate in this program.
