News2News.in News. Ambala. A horrific accident took place in the early hours of Friday near village Kakkad Majra on Panchkula-Yamunanagar National Highway-344. Eight people died in this accident. Four members of the same family are also said to be among those who died. Around 20 people also got injuries. The condition of many of them is said to be serious. The accident happened due to the negligence of the trolley driver. All the people who died and got injured were aboard the bus. Due to the high, there was a jam situation on the highway for a long time. Police has registered a case against the negligent driver. The bodies have been sent to the civil hospital for postmortem.

In fact, the laborers from Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh were going to Baddi in Himachal Pradesh by boarding a bus. Suddenly a trolley hit the bus from behind near Kakkar Majra village of Shahzadpur on the National Highway. The accident was so severe that the bus was blown away while the trolley overturned on the middle of the road. 34-year-old Jwala of village Fatehpur district Sambal of UP, his 32-year-old wife Rinki, 8-year-old son Prince, 6-year-old younger son Prashant, who died in the accident, Rahish Khan of Rudain district Badaun of UP village, Badan of village Ulaya. It has happened in the form of Singh and Zarina. A person who lost his life in the accident has not been identified yet. Police has started investigation by registering a case under section 283,279,337,338,304-A,304 against trolley driver Chandramohan and bus driver Furkan on the complaint of eyewitness Subhash Chand of Kakkar Majra village.

Complainant Subhash Chand told that his bus stand is a confectionery shop at Kakkar Majra. On Friday morning at 4.30 am, he was going for a walk on Shahzadpur Road. When Sharma reached near Dhaba Kakkar Majra on the highway, he saw that the bus driver had parked his bus on the highway side without turning on the indicator and parking lights. Then the bus driver himself along with the passengers were getting down for the bathroom etc. Then a speeding trolley driver coming from Shahzadpur hit the bus. The collision was so severe that both the vehicles overturned in the middle of the road. Subhash told that with the help of passers-by, he also pulled out the trolley driver by breaking the glass of the cabin. The bus driver was also present at the spot at that time. Due to the accident, there was hue and cry among the people in the bus. Seeing the accident, he was also shaken once, but he managed to save the injured passengers by handling himself. He requested the passers-by to stop the vehicles and started a campaign to take the injured to the hospital. Along with the ambulance, the police were also informed about the accident. He took the injured out of the bus and took them to the hospital. Many other passengers including Shivani, Guddi, Sarvesh, Chand Babu, Ashu and Rukhsat have also suffered serious injuries in the accident, who have been admitted to different hospitals. Five injured in the accident were admitted to the civil hospital in Ambala Cantt. Seeing the critical condition of the two injured here, PGI has been referred to Chandigarh. These include Jwala Prasad’s 2-year-old child Nishant. Guddi, 40, and her daughter Shivani, who were injured in the accident, are undergoing treatment at the Cantt Hospital. Many injured have been admitted to the civil hospitals of Narayangarh and Shahzadpur along with Panchkula and Ambala cities.
