Holi 2023: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has given a big warning to those who create nuisance on festivals. CM says that festivals of all religions should be celebrated with pomp, but those who obstruct it need to be dealt with strictly. CM Yogi has issued guidelines not only in view of Holi but also regarding upcoming festivals related to other religions.
According to media reports, CM Yogi Adityanath has said in the new guidelines that religious traditions and faith will be given full respect in the upcoming festivals, but anarchy will never be accepted. CM Yogi said that Holikotsav, Ramzan, Shab-e-Barat, Navroz, Chaitra Navratri, Ram Navami etc. are all important festivals coming in a few days. CM Yogi has given necessary guidelines in connection with the peaceful event by holding an online meeting with senior officers of the government level and senior officers of police and administration posted at all levels.
CM Yogi Adityanath further said that in the next few days, due to festivals, many types of processions will be organized at different places, along with this, fairs will also be held. He said that this time is sensitive in terms of law and order amid gaiety and enthusiasm. We have to be constantly alert and careful. He said that last year festivals of all religions were celebrated in the state in a peaceful and cordial atmosphere. This year also the celebration of festivals should be peaceful. He said that all the facilities related to the festival should be made available by the government during the festival. He said to respect everyone’s religious faith, but any kind of anarchy will not be accepted. Yogi said that whoever is the organizer, he will have to give an affidavit regarding maintaining peace and harmony.

Those who make inflammatory statements or vitiate the atmosphere will be dealt with strictly. He said that on the occasion of Holi, some mischievous elements may try to unnecessarily provoke people of other religions. Such cases should be monitored. The CM said that there should not be any such activity in processions and processions, due to which people of other religions get agitated. Obscene and vulgar songs should never be played. He said that strict action should be taken against those who paint religious places. A small rumor can spoil the atmosphere. In such a situation, the administration will have to be more alert. Along with this, CM Yogi has also called upon the people to respect all the festivals and participate in the festivals of happiness by ignoring any rumours.
