Himachal Road Accident: A major accident took place in Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday morning. Here, a high speed Innova car ran over the laborers going to work for UP-Bihar. Five died and four were injured in the accident. The laborers who died include three from Bihar and two from UP. The injured were admitted to Dharampur Health Center for treatment. Out of these only one condition was more serious. From where he was referred to Chandigarh PGI.
According to the police, the accident happened near Sukki Johri. On Tuesday morning, an Innova car was going from Solan towards Parwanoo, while on the way, a little ahead of the stop near Sukki Johri, the car trampled 9 laborers on foot. After trampling the workers, the Innova car climbed on the divider.
Hearing the sound of the accident, reached the nearby spot and started the relief work. Along with this, the police was informed about the accident. After this, all the injured were taken to Dharampur Community Health Center, where five laborers were declared brought dead by the doctors. Regarding this accident, the police said that the accident call was received in the morning, after which the police team was sent on the spot. After this, the injured in the accident were sent to the nearest hospital with the help of the local people.
ASP Solan, Dharampur Ajay Kumar Rana told that in the morning an Innova vehicle crushed 9 people, they were laborers from Bihar. 5 died in the accident. The rest have been admitted to the hospital. The driver Rajesh has been arrested. Prima facie it seems that the accident happened due to overspeed.
