Gorakhpur Accident: A speeding truck hit a bus parked near Jagdishpur on the Gorakhpur-Kushinagar highway late Thursday night in Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh. 6 people died and 25 others were injured in this accident. He has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. After getting information about this horrific accident, police officers reached the spot and started investigating the matter.

A bus from Gorakhpur was going to Padrauna with passengers. A wheel of the bus burst near Mallapur in Jagdishpur. The driver and conductor parked the bus on the roadside and asked for another bus. An empty bus arrived from Gorakhpur and was in the process of picking up passengers. Some passengers had already boarded the new bus, while others were still standing between the two buses. Meanwhile, a speeding truck hit the bus from behind.
The collision was so severe that two people lost their lives on the spot, the wheel of the bus ran over them. Apart from this, about two dozen people were injured, out of which the condition of a dozen is said to be critical. Four more injured died on reaching the hospital. After the incident, the authorities have alerted the doctors of the district and medical college. When a large number of injured people arrived, doctors were immediately called. Five ambulances reached the accident site and the injured were taken to Sadar Hospital and Medical College. According to the police, there were more than 30 passengers in the bus.
Two of the deceased persons have not been identified yet. Those identified include Shailesh Patel (25), Suresh Chauhan (35), Nitesh Singh (25) and Himanshu Yadav (24). However, the matter is being investigated.
