Ayodhya Ram Mandir News Updates:The grand Ram temple in Ayodhya is ready for inauguration. On January 22, the Ramlala statue will be installed in the sanctum sanctorum by the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The rituals will start from January 16 itself. But the city tour program to be held on January 17 has been cancelled. This decision was taken by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The Trust says that the program of taking Ram Lalla on a city tour on January 17 has been cancelled. The city tour would have given devotees a chance to get a glimpse of the new idol of Ram Lalla across Ayodhya city before the consecration ceremony.
Now visit only the temple premises
Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has now made a new program. Under this, a tour of the new idol of Ramlala will be organized inside the premises of Ram Janmabhoomi on the same day on January 17.
Why was the program cancelled?
A senior official of the trust said that the security agencies have alerted about crowd management. Ayodhya tour program has been canceled due to security reasons. This decision was taken by the officials of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust after a meeting with the Acharyas and senior administrative officials of Kashi.
According to the Ayodhya district administration, it was discussed in the meeting that it would be difficult to control the crowd as it would be difficult to stop the devotees and pilgrims when the new idol of Ram Lalla is brought out in the city. A large number of devotees will participate in the city tour to have the darshan of Lord Ramlala. This also poses a threat to security.
Ramlala’s idol will be bathed with 125 urns
Ram temple consecration ceremony will start from January 16. After the rituals starting with havan-puja, Ram Lalla will be bathed with 125 urns on January 21. At last he will be given Samadhi. The new statue of Ramlala will be consecrated on January 22. Which will be completed by PM Modi.
