Air service in Ayodhya: The first tri-weekly flight was started from religious city Ayodhya to Ahmedabad. Union Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the air service was launched on Thursday. Union Minister Scindia said, soon air service will start in Aligarh, Azamgarh, Chitrakoot and Shravasti.
 

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that through this flight, the spirituality of Vibrant Gujarat and Ayodhya is coming together. Scindia said that till 2014, 700 aircraft were operating in Uttar Pradesh. Today it has increased by 137 percent to 1654 air movements. RK Singh, Special Director of Indigo Airlines, said, Indigo is flying 165 flights every day from 7 airports of Uttar Pradesh. A new flight has started between Ayodhya-Ahmedabad. Which will be available three days a week from both sides. Its frequency may be increased in future.

84 flights from 13 cities from eight airports of UP
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, with this flight service, Lord Ram’s city Ayodhya has been connected to Ahmedabad by air service. After Delhi, Ahmedabad is the second connected place to Ayodhya. After this, the second flight service will start to Mumbai from 15th January and to Delhi from 16th January. CM said that, Indigo started air services from eight cities of UP, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Kanpur, Agra, Prayagraj, Bareilly and Ayodhya. It is also increasing continuously. The first flight started from Lucknow Airport in 2009. Currently there are 84 flights available from 13 cities. 34 flights to 6 destinations from Varanasi, 6 flights to 4 destinations from Gorakhpur, 11 flights to 10 destinations from Prayagraj, 6 flights to 6 cities from Agra, 3 flights from Kanpur and Bareilly are available daily.
