Assembly Election 2023:Veteran BJP leader and former Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje has given a big statement. She said that she feels that she can now retire and has said this after seeing the progress of her MP son Dushyant Singh. However, his statement has created a stir in politics.

According to media reports, Vasundhara Raje addressed a rally in Jhalawar district on Friday. She is the MLA from this assembly seat and is contesting elections from this seat again. After listening to the speech of her son Dushyant, Raje said, “I feel that I can retire now. After listening to the MP, I felt that you have taught him well, sometimes with love and sometimes with scolding. You people have brought them on such a path that I will do this and will not have to go after them.”

In her speech Vasundhara Raje recalled her long innings in Jhalawar. First as MP from Jhalawar and then as MLA from Jhalrapatan, the constituency she holds and from where she is contesting again. His comments come at a time when his future in the state BJP remains a subject of speculation, with the central leadership resisting demands to project him as the CM face of the party. In his speech, Raje praised the party district president and local MLAs. At present, all the four assembly seats of Jhalawar – Dag, Jhalrapatan, Khanpur and Manohar police station are with BJP.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has made an announcement regarding the assembly elections. He said that if Congress returns to power, it will guarantee Rs 10,000 annually to women heads of families.
