On his orders, more than 50 kutcha houses of displaced Hindus from Pakistan in Jaisalmer were razed to the ground with bulldozers by UIT, terming them as encroachments. Biography of Tina Dabi

Tina Dabi has been the UPSC topper of 2015-16 batch. He was born on 9 November 1993 in Bhopal city of Madhya Pradesh. She comes from a middle class SC Hindu family. Tina Dabi was born in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, but her family shifted to Delhi when she was studying in seventh grade. Currently Tina Dabi age is 28 years.

There are a total of four people in Tina’s family, including father Jaswant Dabi, mother Himani Dabi and younger sister Riya Dabi. Tina’s younger sister Riya Dabi is also an IAS officer. Riya has secured All India Rank 15 in UPSC exam.

Education of Tina Dabi

Tina Dabi was very smart in studies since childhood. He has studied up to his 12th standard from ICSE board. He had scored 100 – 100 marks in History and Civics in 12th. Tina Dabi has done her graduation in Political Science from Delhi’s Shri Ram College for Women. Tina secured All India Rank 1 in UPSC exam in her very first attempt.

Administrative journey of Tina Dabi

Tina Dabi’s first choice was Haryana, where she wanted to work for women, but she got Rajasthan cadre instead of Haryana cadre. Tina served as the Chief Executive Officer in Sriganganagar Zilla Parishad, Rajasthan. After this Tina took charge of the post of Joint Secretary in the Finance Department of Rajasthan Government and now Tina Dabi is working as DM of Jaisalmer.

Tina Dabi’s weddings

Tina Dabi has done two marriages. She was first married in 2018 to Athar Aamir, who got the second rank of her own batch, but both of them got divorced in 2020 with mutual consent. Tina is married to 2013 batch IES officer Dr. Pradeep Gawande and both are very happy in their life. At the same time, her ex-husband Athar has also made a second marriage with Dr. Mahira.
