Amidst the election atmosphere in Rajasthan and the tussle between parties, the state’s deputy CM Sachin Pilot has raised questions on his own state government by holding a press conference. Sachin Pilot said that when we were present as an opposition party, we had raised our voice against the 45 thousand crore scam in Vasundhara Raje’s government. We had promised the people during the elections that if the Congress government is formed in the state, we will conduct an impartial inquiry against this matter and strict action will be taken against whoever is found guilty. He said that our government did not do this. Pilot also made sharp attacks on CM Ashok Gehlot for this.

According to media reports, Sachin Pilot further said in the press conference that I had written the first letter to the Chief Minister regarding the investigation of this scam on March 28, 2022, but the Chief Minister had ignored my letter. At the same time, another letter was also written in this matter, still no reply came.

He said that since four years till now no action has been taken on that issue. He raised the question whether there was any collusion in this. Our government will have to take impartial action soon to prove this point, so that people have the confidence and trust that Congress does what it says. He also said that he would go on a fast against corruption on 11th April.

what was the matter related to corruption

During the previous tenure of the BJP government in Rajasthan, when Vasundhara Raje was the chief minister, the Congress accused her of a massive scam in the allocation of mines in Rajasthan. During this, Congress leaders Sachin Pilot and Randeep Surjewala said that a transparent process was not adopted in the allocation of mines in Rajasthan. By allotting 653 mines on first-come-first-served basis instead of holding auction, the state exchequer suffered a loss of Rs 45,000 crore. He said that the Center had asked the state government not to make allocations until a policy was formulated in this regard, but the Vasundhara Raje government ignored this decision and the mines were allocated.

stir in political circles

The eyes of the people of Rajasthan are fixed on every decision of Sachin Pilot. Discussions are going on in the political corridors regarding this matter. Regarding Sachin Pilot, both RLP chief Beniwal and Aam Aadmi Party are waiting to see when he will leave the Congress party and we should include him in our party. A few days ago, RLP chief Beniwal had told Pilot to leave the Congress and form a new party. Along with this, he had also offered to form an alliance with them. Now it will be a matter to be seen how the Congress will deal with this political tussle because there will be a double challenge for the Congress. If, on the instructions of the high command, the Rajasthan Congress government orders an inquiry into the matter, then the image of Ashok Gehlot will be questioned, while if an attempt is made to hush up the matter, then Sachin Pilot may change his path and join any other party. Such discussions are going on.
