Leader of Opposition in Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Rajendra Rathore held a press conference today at Rajasthan House in New Delhi. During this, he fiercely attacked the Gehlot government on the issue of Jaipur Bomb Blast Case. Let us tell you that the accused in the Jaipur bomb blast were acquitted by the Rajasthan High Court a few days ago. Regarding this matter, Rathore cursed the Rajasthan government fiercely and made many allegations. He said that Ashok Gehlot wanted to save the accused of the Jaipur bomb blast, so he filed the SLP in the Supreme Court in this case after a long time.

The Leader of Opposition further said that on April 13, 2023, the Rajasthan BJP will approach the Supreme Court on behalf of the two victims of the Jaipur bomb blast, Rajeshwari Devi and Abhinandan Tiwari, to cancel the order given by the Rajasthan High Court on March 29, 2023. Petition was filed in Now in this matter, the bench of Supreme Court Justices Abhay Oka and Rajesh Bindal will hear on May 12 i.e. today.

Rathore said that it is clearly evident that the government has no intention of punishing the accused in the Jaipur bomb blast. Now on May 13, the 15th anniversary of the Jaipur bomb blast, the BJP will hold demonstrations in 250 wards of Jaipur in support of the families of the victims. The team of former Additional Solicitor General Maninder Singh, Advocate Shiv Mangal Sharma, Advocates Hemant Nahata and Sanjeev Singhal will advocate in the Supreme Court to provide justice to the victims.

The four accused were acquitted 2 days ago

Please inform that on May 13, 2008, terrorists had carried out 7 serial bomb blasts in the capital Jaipur. These blasts were carried out in crowded areas of the city, in which 71 people were killed and 185 were injured. After this there was a long hearing in the court and 4 accused Saifur Rahman, Mohd Sarwar Azmi, Mohd Saif and Mohd Salman were convicted and sentenced to death.

According to media reports, the Rajasthan High Court had on March 29 given its verdict acquitting the accused in the Jaipur bomb blast. During this, the High Court had remarked that the investigating officer in this case had committed serious negligence. In such a situation, action should be taken against the investigating officer. These four accused have been released from jail two days ago.

CM Gehlot filed SLP after 40 days

The BJP had alleged that the Rajasthan government did not file an SLP after the High Court order acquitting the accused in the bomb blasts. The BJP said that the Congress government deliberately did a weak lobbying against the terrorists. After this attack of BJP, CM Ashok Gehlot had said that he will file a special permission petition in the Supreme Court on behalf of the state government. Nearly 40 days after the order of the High Court, now two days ago when all the four accused were released from jail, the BJP again attacked the Rajasthan government. However, a special leave petition has been filed in the Supreme Court on this matter, which will be heard tomorrow i.e. on May 13.
