While her husband former Congress MP Manvendra Singh (59) was seriously injured. His son was also present in the car at the time of the accident, he also got injured. Then the car went out of control and collided with the wall of the culvert on the side of the highway. Congress leader Manvendra Singh was elected MP from Barmer-Jaisalmer Lok Sabha seat of Rajasthan in 2004 on BJP ticket. His father late Jaswant Singh was one of the founders of BJP. Jaswant Singh was given the responsibility of Foreign Ministry in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government. He died in 2020. Jaswant held many ministries in the first NDA government.
