In this episode, now a drone has been shot down in the Amritsar sector of Punjab.

Pakistani drone shot down

According to media reports, in the early hours of Saturday, Border Security Force personnel shot down a drone coming from Pakistan. It was seen in the sector of Amritsar, BSF jawans had fired on it. After searching the drone, a suspicious bag tied to it was also recovered. Out of this, BSF jawans have recovered the drug. Not only this, this is the second drone found today, which carried out a similar action last Friday.

Even before this action was taken

In the beginning of this month also, such infiltration attempt was made from Pakistan side. The BSF jawans posted at BOP Bhariyal of 58 Battalion of Gurdaspur sector of BSF had opened fire on the Pakistani drone entering the Indian border. After this he was again back in the border of Pakistan. After this, an intensive search operation was launched in the area. Nothing suspicious was found in it.

anti drone system effective

The Anti-Drone System installed on the Indian border is proving to be very effective. BSF has shot down 20 drones since last four months. Along with this, till now about 50 kg of heroin has also been recovered from them. On the other hand, if we talk, from June last year till now, drones have entered the Indian border about 74 times. However, all these have been foiled by the Indian security forces.
