Applications can be filed on the departmental portal only after Aadhaar e-KYC on the overall portal. In schemes that do not have an online system, the concerned sanctioning authority will verify the Aadhaar e-KYC on the Samagra portal before approving the application. Approval will be given as per rules only after confirmation.

Instructions to all collectors

Faiz Ahmed Kidwai, Principal Secretary, Social Welfare Department said that all the collectors have been instructed to make Aadhaar e-KYAS mandatory in all the schemes of the department, bank account Aadhaar link and activate DBT. He said that the process of Aadhaar e-KYC of the citizens is being done on the overall portal from the Science and Technology Department. Ensure Aadhaar e-KYC of the beneficiaries of all the pension schemes run by the department.

Camps will be updated

In order to provide the facility of e-KYC to the beneficiaries, the overall social security officer, in coordination with the service provider agency operating in his area and the district and assistant e-governance managers, organize camps at the gram panchayat or ward level, and organize the Aadhaar e-KYC of maximum number of beneficiaries. have been asked to ensure. Gram Panchayat Secretary and ward in-charge can also update the Aadhaar e-KYC of the beneficiaries on the overall portal. Beneficiaries and applicants have also been asked to link their bank account numbers with Aadhaar and make them aware to activate the DBT account.
