The work of laying tracks in Bhopal Metro will start from next week

BhopalThe work of laying tracks for Bhopal Metro will start next week. For this, the welding machine reached Bhopal from Delhi, due to which it was hoisted late night in Subhash Nagar. The work of laying tracks is starting from Subhash Nagar itself. According to Metro officials, the track will be completely laid up to Rani Kamlapati railway station by next month. Along with this, stations will also be ready.

Stations being prepared on green building concept
Bhopal Metro stations are being built on the green building concept. In this, maximum use of solar energy will be made. For this, solar panels will be installed on the roof of the station. The rain water will be pumped into the ground through rain water harvesting. STP is being built at the metro depot in Subhash Nagar. The waste water will be recycled and used in metro washing.

Metro will get current from the track
Third technology is being used for current in Bhopal Metro. Actually power supply is given in the rail in two ways. First OHEA which gets power from above cable. One track is laid parallel to the other tracks. This affects the current. It is only through this that the metro gets power. This is called third technology. Along with the low cost of this technology, maintenance also comes down. It also reduces the possibility of fault.
