Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while launching the Ladli Laxmi Yojana at Bhopal’s Jamboree Maidan, said that an amount of one thousand rupees every month is a Rakhi gift from the brother to the sisters. The sisters of those families whose annual income is less than Rs 2.5 lakh and land holding is less than 5 acres will get this amount. The Chief Minister also told how a family would get Rs 56,000 help from the government in a year. Chouhan accused Kamal Nath of shutting down the schemes started by him.

The Chief Minister said that Rs 12,000 would be given in one year and Rs 24,000 if there were two daughters-in-law. If there is a mother-in-law in the house, I will increase her pension to Rs 1,000, if the husband is a farmer, he will get Rs 10,000 from the Kisan Samman Nidhi, which will help a family Rs 56,000 in a year. This will also increase the respect of my sisters and the love between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law will also increase. No need for certificate, it is enough to give in writing
The Chief Minister said that my sisters, you do not need to get any certificate made, just write it, your brother will accept it. A camp will be held in your ward in the city. I will set up camp in the village also. Don’t get fooled by any tout. If anyone does brokerage, call 181, I will get you handcuffed and sent to jail. Chouhan said that the form should not be filled in a single day. We will give training to our employees and BJP workers. 30 applications will be filled in a day. First installment will come on June 10
The Chief Minister said that the filling of applications will start from March 25. Everyone has bank accounts, if any one is left, don’t worry, I will get the accounts opened as well.
