Sri Lanka will preserve more than eight thousand buildings including Ramsetu like China

Bhopal. The Sri Lankan government is going to adopt China’s method to preserve more than eight thousand heritage buildings located there including Ramsetu. For this, along with the maintenance of these buildings, the increasing human interference here will also be reduced. There are more than eight thousand heritage buildings in Sri Lanka, which are being preserved. Due to the weak economic condition of Sri Lanka, the preservation of these buildings has been affected, but the new government of Sri Lanka is trying to preserve these buildings including Ramsetu. This was said by the Director General of Sri Lanka’s Central Cultural Fund, Prof. Gamini Ranasinghe was speaking at the two-day UNESCO International Conference held at the Kushabhau Thakre Convention Centre. He also asked India to participate in the conservation of Ramsetu. Along with Sri Lanka, representatives of India, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Maldives also participated in the conference.

Nepal is preserving 920 heritages:
On this occasion, Dr. Suresh Shrerastha, head of Nepal’s cultural department and joint secretary, while giving a presentation said that he is working to save and preserve the mythological heritage located in his country. Due to the 2015 earthquake in Nepal, 920 heritage sites located in 31 districts were damaged. The work of reviving them is being done. India is working to beautify 28 of these heritages. In the next eight years, it will come back to its old form. Karma Tenzin of Bhutan explained about Bhutan’s environmental policy. He told that he is also continuously working to beautify his heritage.
