Let us tell you that this painful incident took place in the excellent girls hostel running in Bypass Road area of Sheopur city. According to the information, the student was being harassed by the police for a long time. Due to which the student sacrificed her life today. As soon as the family members of the minor student got information about the matter, they reached the hostel and created a ruckus, making serious allegations against the police.
The girl students and their family members said that the police were torturing them.
According to the information, the name of the deceased student was Lakshmi Bhil. Who was a resident of Dundikheda village. To ensure good studies, Lakshmi Bhil’s family had sent her to a hostel. Lakshmi was good in studies and often went home during holidays. But last month, when she was going home, one of her fellow students insisted on going home with her. After which the minor took him home with her. However, during this time the girl made some excuse and ran away from there with some boy. After which the police was putting pressure on Lakshmi in the name of interrogation. The student’s family has held the police responsible for their daughter’s death.
Police was harassing the student for a month
The girl students living with Lakshmi Bhil say that the Kotwali police station was continuously torturing student Lakshmi for the last month, even though she had told the police several times that she did not know anything. Despite this the police kept harassing Lakshmi. They also threatened to send him and his father to jail, spend the rest of their life in jail, sweep, mop and beat them. Due to this, Lakshmi was constantly worried. After which he finally got upset and committed suicide.
