Bhopal. A class VII student hanged herself in Bhim Nagar slum located in Arera Hills police station area on Sunday evening. As soon as he was seen, the family took him out of the trap and took him to a private hospital, where it was found that he had died. Police reached the information and sent the dead body to the PM after setting up a trail. The reasons for the suicide could not be clear in the preliminary investigation. Police say that the cause of death will be clear only after the statement of the family members is recorded. At present, the bereaved family is not in a position to say anything.
Station in-charge RK Singh told that Khushi Kushwaha’s father Phoolan Kushwaha (15) lived in Char Nal Jhuggi, Bhim Nagar. His father Phoolan runs a vegetable stall. Father was at the vegetable shop on Sunday evening, while brother was in the locality. Mother was sitting next door. When she reached home, the door of the inner room was locked. He called Khushi, but she did not open the door. Fearing untoward incident, when the door was broken with the help of neighbors, Khushi had hanged herself with the help of a scarf. Immediately the noose was cut and Khushi was taken to a nearby hospital, where the doctor declared Khushi dead. The family told that Khushi used to study in a convent school and was fine in reading and writing. Right now his exam was also going on. The family is also shocked and upset due to Khushi’s hanging.

After the PM on Monday afternoon, the family reached Bhim Nagar with Khushi’s dead body. The family members staged a chakkajam by placing the dead body on the main road of Bhim Nagar. During this, MLA PC Sharma also reached with the workers. The family alleges that Khushi cannot commit suicide. He has been killed and hanged. The relatives have also given the names of some suspects. MLA PC Sharma said that the matter will be taken up in the Vidhansabha. Police say that the cause of death has been revealed in the short PM report.
